2013 Vintner Select Cabernet Sauvignon
This superb Cabernet Sauvignon just fills you with a sense of completeness and well being. Notes of earth, chocolate, black current, black cherry and savory tar penetrate the senses. As is the signature of all the 2013 reds, this is a dark, balanced, concentrated wine that smoothly builds to a full-bodied finish that just goes and goes. This wine exhibits exceptional density and caresses the entire mouth with lingering velvety structure. The most profound and satisfying Vintner Select Cabernet Sauvignon we can recall ever making. You will definitely enjoy this one.

Wine Advocate: October 2016
A great wine, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Vintner’s Select is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged for 20 months in 40% new French oak. This is a beauty, with classic notes of espresso bean, white chocolate, crème de cassis, licorice and graphite. Some subtle oak appears in the flavor profile, which is mostly dark black fruits. The wine cuts a broad swath across the palate, and is savory, pure and hedonistic. With each look, additional nuances seem to appear. Drink it over the next 15-20 years.
