The Summit is the best four-barrel Bordeaux-varietal blend we can make each year from our roughly 1,000 barrels of annual production. 2022 is its inaugural vintage.

Winemaker Matt Ward builds The Summit blend first each year, crafting it from our most compelling individual barrels of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, cabernet franc and petit verdot. For this 2022 vintage, the ideal blend was found to be 89% cabernet sauvignon, 6% cabernet franc, 3% petit verdot and 2% merlot. Available exclusively to our winery guests, the elevated price on The Summit compared to our Reserve Cabernet and Reserve Claret is attributable to its exceptionally small production. The Summit is truly the crème of each crop.
