Growing up in northern California, Cheryl has been a resident of the Napa Valley since her youth. After finding the love of her life, Brad, she settled in Yountville where the two of them enjoy the finer pleasures of life among the vineyards: long walks, dining at Bistro Jeanty, and enjoying a nice glass of wine at sunset while grilling on their back deck.
Cheryl joined the growing Pride Mountain Vineyards team in 1998, after several years in administration at Hans Kornell Champagne Cellars in the Napa Valley. Wearing many hats, Cheryl handles accounts payable, label approvals, and assists Suzanne Pride Bryan with OSHA compliance. She is also a talented decorator when it comes to “decking the halls” during the holidays and answers as quickly to “Mrs. Claus” as she does her given name. During harvest, Cheryl keeps the winemaking team well nourished during their long hours on the crush pad …think steak, salmon, salad and fresh bread from Bouchon Bakery, among other treats. It makes us all want to man the crusher/de-stemmer just so we can have lunch, too!
Cheryl’s passions include spending as much time as possible at the ocean on California’s north coast and in the Mount Lassen area of northeastern California. Weekends find her gardening, trying new recipes and enjoying the peace and quiet of life in “Y'town.”
