This 2022 Vintner Select Merlot has truly expanded our understanding of just how great merlot can be. This wine was surprisingly bold and angular when first blended in the summer of 2023, but with an additional year in barrel, it resolved to strike the perfect balance between power and suppleness. Opulent flavors of black cherry and boysenberry are framed with intriguing freshness and spice notes. The pleasing tannins are plush and mouth-filling which perfectly accent the generous offering of fruit and cedar aromas.
