The 2024 Pride Mountain Vineyards Cabernet Franc is an ethereal balance of fruit, herb, spice and dried flower that shifts with each passing moment. Mulberry and blackberry aromas dominate, but there is an undeniable core of marjoram with a touch of thyme. The first taste reveals smooth, satin-like tannins which elicit subtle hints of black pepper. As it unfurls in the glass, the savory herbs and spice notes take on a different tone as they blossom into recently dried lavender with a wisp of jasmine. We look forward to checking in on this wine as often as possible over the next 5, 10, even 20 years.
