We're halfway home and our grapes are just beginning the process of veraison, the time when they start to soften and turn from green to either golden (for white wine grapes) or black (for red wine grapes). It has been an interesting year, with changeable weather and lots of surprises.

Winter is a quiet time in our vineyards, but despite the stillness there is a lot that happens during this time of year.
