Small, family-owned wine producers across the state are the foundation of Family Winemakers of California.  Formed in 1991 to lobby for the rights of its members to freely produce, market and sell their products, FWC currently represents over 500 producers.  The organization's tastings provide a cost-effective marketing approach for the member wineries, and the opportunity for consumers and members of the trade to appreciate the wines they produce.
