2005 Cabernet Franc
Blueberry pie meets green tea aromas. Full bodied with vibrant acidity, lively texture and a mouthwatering mid-palate. Gentle fine tannins finish with subtle espresso. Will go with anything edible!

Good full red. Exhilarating floral aromas of blueberry, licorice and cinnamon complicated by leather and earth. Juicy, sweet and lively, with an intense flavor of allspice and terrific lift. Elegantly styled and very fresh on the lingering aftertaste. - January 03, 2008 Wine Advocate, Dec. 28, 2007, Issue 174

The elegant, dark ruby/blue/purple-tinged 2005 Cabernet Franc reveals notions of crushed rocks, menthol, blueberries, raspberries, sweet cherries, and subtle smoke and earth in the background. It is a medium-bodied, elegant Cabernet Franc with serious flavor intensity. It should drink well for 8-10 years. - January 03, 2008 California Grapevine, Dec. 07/ Jan. 08

Medium to medium-dark ruby; attractive, intense spicy, cassis and blueberry fruit aroma with notes of green olive and vanilla, and a hint of leather; full body: rich, textured, plummy, dark berry fruit flavors with overtones of sweet oak; firmly structured: full tannin; slightly harsh finish; lingering aftertaste. Highly recommended. - October 26, 2007 The Wine Spectator - Nov. 15, 2007

Loamy, earthy flavors are dry and chewy, but the dense berry, spicy oak and toast flavors at the core are simply young and rambunctious now. Decant. Best from 2008 through 2013. 1808 cases made
