2010 Pride Cabernet Sauvignon
With fruit harvested between the 21st of October and the 18th of November, the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon was one of our latest picked wines ever. But the long wait and our attention to detail paid off with a standout wine that I could not be prouder of. The enticing nose is loaded with ripe blackberries, cherry, plum, subtle tarry notes, dark chocolate and resinous underbrush. The palate is a seamless mesh of velvety tannins with vibrant acidity and undulating layers of fruit, tobacco and spice notes. This exceptional wine is balanced, complex and expresses a purity of varietal character that we find very exciting. It can be enjoyed this year, but will favorably evolve for decades.

The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon is brighter, fresher and more vibrant than the 2009.Black cherries, mocha, violets, licorice and graphite all jump from the glass. The 2010 is quite typical of the vintage in its verve, cut, focus and minerality. This is a terrific showing. Anticipated maturity: 2020-2030.
